All of our teachers are trained through Music Together® LLC in Princeton NJ.
They receive ongoing support through songs and skills workshops,
certification training, teacher newsletters and training videos.

Mary Beth Camp Co-Director and Teacher
Mary Beth studied voice at the Cleveland Music School Settlement and has sung all her life. After a long career as a photographer, she returned to her love of music. Mary Beth started the first Music Together Center in Hong Kong while living overseas. She plays ukulele and holds Music Together Certification Level 1. See Mary Beth’s classes.

Joell Bradshaw Teacher
Joell studied voice and sung in choirs ensembles and musicals. With her background in ballet and jazz dancing, she infuses her Music Together classes with movement. Joell has a Master of Social Work concentrating on children and families. She also plays guitar and loves to sing with her two sons and holds Certification Level 1. See Joell’s classes

Jimena Cabello Salazar Teacher
Jimena is a vocalist, percussionist and dancer with local Brazilian community music bands. With a MS in Adult Ed, her background is in organizational psychology and community education. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Jimena has been a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) educator in the U.S. since 2008 and has a toddler daughter.  See Jimena’s classes

Justin Carroll Teacher
Justin is an early childhood music instructor at Portland Jewish Academy and Congregation Shaarie Torah. An award winning singer/songwriter, he has worked as a Music Director and musician for several theater companies.  Justin has been a dad in Music Together classes with all 3 of his children!  See Justin’s classes

Heather Delaney Teacher
Heather is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, preschool teacher, early childhood tumbling teacher, and has a strong background working with children with special needs. She sings with the Choral Arts Ensemble of Portland and the Grotto Carolers and is passionate about enabling children and their families to create musical memories together. See Heather’s classes

Adam Gailiunas Teacher
Adam has been a professional musician playing in bands, producing and recording music for decades. He plays guitar, mandolin, piano, bass, drums and harmonica and gives private music lessons. Adam has been teaching Music Together in preschools in Portland the past few years and loves to make music with his school age son. See Adam’s classes

Avery Hill Teacher
Avery is a musician, songwriter and storyteller who performs and teaches at festivals and private venues all over the USA. Besides teaching guitar, piano and ukulele, she also leads music camps and retreats for both children and adults. Avery has a Masters of Education and has worked as an elementary school teacher. See Avery’s classes

Lenka Jensen Teacher
Lenka recently moved to Portland with her family from San Francisco where she taught Music Together for 11 years. She plays ukulele, guitar and piano and has a Masters of Education Education and a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood. We are so happy to welcome her to the Music Together of Portland community. Bonnie Singer Co-Director and Teacher
Bonnie has a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance and has performed professionally in NYC and throughout the USA. She plays classical recorder, mandolin, folk and jazz guitar, and plays in Portland’s Taborgrass bluegrass community. Bonnie has an MA in Education and holds Music Together Certification Level 1. Betsy LeVine Teacher 
Betsy has worked as a preschool teacher in both Montessori and charter schools for 5 years before jumping joyously into her role as a Music Together teacher. Her love for children and natural silliness combined with singing, playing guitar and clarinet help families feel at home. She has taught Israeli folk dancing & lent her voice to bands in & around Portland. See Betsy’s classes.

Maggie Lind Teacher
Maggie plays banjo, fiddle and guitar. Through private banjo lessons and as a MT teacher, she inspires people to make musical community a part of their daily lives. Outside of class, Maggie calls and plays for square dances and sings with her husband, Patrick, and fellow teacher, Caroline Oakley. See Maggie’s classes.

James Magraf Teacher
James is a songwriter, musician and composer with a degree from Berklee School of Music who performs under the name James Low. He recently returned to Portland with his wife and toddler daughter after spending 4 years in Malaysia working at an international school.  James is excited to help children discover their musical creativity! See James’ classes.

Heidi Nelms Teacher
Heidi has cherished her work with children as a nanny, social worker and teacher for over twenty years. She teaches music at Trillium Charter School and Rigler School and fell in love with Music Together attending classes with her son. Heidi sings and plays bass, guitar and drums in various bands along with her husband. See Heidi’s classes.

Jillian Rhodes Teacher
Jillian has sung in choirs, vocal ensembles and garage bands. Her years of experience teaching dance and creative movement, classroom teaching and nannying reflect her love of working with children. Jillian sings and plays guitar with the string band, Ask Irene, and studies modern dance. See Jillian’s classes.

Jennifer O’Leary  Teacher
Jennifer performs and sings Broadway and Jazz selections, in choirs, musical theater productions, as a soloist and in a Women’s quartet.   She is the Bell Choir Director at Rose City Park UMC and plays flute. A long time Music Together parent, she is thrilled to teach the “science” behind what we do in class.

Kaeley O’Leary Stephens Teacher
Teacher Kaeley has been singing all her life wherever she can in choirs, ensembles, community bands and song circles. Her years of experience teaching as an environmental educator, being a parent in Music Together classes with her 3 daughters, and her love for community music making led her to become a MT teacher. Audrey Sackett Teacher
Audrey is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a Master’s degree in vocal performance.  In addition to her performance career, Audrey teaches piano and voice, runs the children’s music program at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, and teaches after school music classes at Harvey Scott Elementary School. See Audrey’s classes

Hannah Treuhaft Teacher 
Hannah is a founding Ensemble Member of Sojourn Theater, where, besides performing and creating, she was Education Director for many years. She taught Middle School Theater and History at the Portland Jewish Academy. Hannah’s had two children in Music Together classes and plays guitar and piano. See Hannah’s Classes
